Responsibilities
Laboratory Operations & Sample Testing
· Assist in routine testing for high-throughput cannabis samples.
· Follow and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and lab policies to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
· Maintain, troubleshoot, and operate laboratory equipment, including but not limited to HPLC, moisture analyzers, and other analytical instruments.
· Perform sample preparation, data collection, and precise data entry.
· Generate and maintain accurate reports and documentation.
Compliance & Quality Control
· Ensure all work meets established quality standards and regulatory compliance.
· Adhere to PPE requirements and safety protocols.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile laboratory environment.
Collaboration & Project Support
· Support project completion by assisting the Quality Department as needed.
· Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and ensure necessary stock levels.
· Participate in department meetings and provide insights for process improvements.
· Foster positive communication and collaboration within the laboratory team.
Qualifications
· Approximately 2 years of experience in an analytical laboratory setting (professional or academic).
· Experience operating HPLC, moisture analyzers, and other analytical lab equipment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite , specifically Microsoft Excel.
· Preferred degree in Chemistry or a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
· Strong general chemistry knowledge and wet lab skills.
· Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and data accuracy.
· Must be 21 years of age or older
