Regional Service Manager - South

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will deliver quality customer service to satisfy customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility. The work model for the role is remote, travel. This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries division in the Southern region. You will be mainly accountable for: • Performing entry level field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performs analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products. • Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities. • Executing work on a first-time right approach with customers, and ensuring the job is done on time and as per quality standards. • Troubleshooting simple equipment failures and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future. Qualifications for the role

  • Associate's Degree desired or high-school degree and comparable military technical training.
  • Applicants must speak fluent English and have a legal driver’s license
  • Must be willing to maintain overnight travel of 80%.
  • If applicable, ABB relocation assistance will be provided to other location in the South if needed. Trainees will undertake formal ABB University training, on-the-job training, and receive mentorship along their journey.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
