John Hand Club is a private, members-only club located in the heart of downtown Birmingham. We’re seeking a full-time  Bartender/Manager to lead our bar operations. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in an intimate, high-touch environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a warm, welcoming experience for members through exceptional service.
• Oversee daily bar operations, including inventory management and ordering.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked bar, ensuring the availability of all necessary supplies.
• Prepare garnishes and drinks with a focus on presentation and quality.
• Manage bar staff, including scheduling and training.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organization, and service.
• Build rapport with members and help preserve the club’s refined, exclusive atmosphere.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of bartending experience.
• Prior management or shift lead experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and wine; mixology skills required.
• Professional, polished demeanor with excellent communication skills.
• Self-starter who’s comfortable working independently.
• Reliable, organized, and dedicated to exceptional service.
