Job Title: Chargeback Specialist (Deduction Analyst)

We are looking for a chargeback specialist in Pico Rivera, paying up to $30/hour, based on experience
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and the sales team, ensuring timely responses to their inquiries and requests.
- Process and reconcile customer disputes, post chargeback credits, maintain chargeback documentation, and update notes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to research and determine the validity of claims.
- Analyze chargebacks for compliance with customer agreements.
- Reconcile rebate deductions against related credit memos and report on deduction discrepancies.
- Investigate deductions related to prompt pay discounts, sales tracing fees, and administrative fees to ensure they align with negotiated contract agreements.
- Examine payment deductions related to overages, shortages, and damages.
- Take action on unauthorized deductions, including seeking repayment from customers and reclassifying when appropriate.
- Manage authorized deductions and clear them in compliance with office policies and procedures.
- Work closely with various levels of sales to resolve overdue invoices and deductions, recommending further actions for delinquent accounts.
- Collaborate with Cash Applications as needed to ensure payments are appropriately applied.
- Prepare and present reports, statistical data, and information related to collection activities to management.
- Review customer aging analyses to plan and determine appropriate actions for collecting past-due balances.
- Document and submit small balances and bad debt adjustments for approval.
