Chief of Staff Role

Our client is seeking its first Chief of Staff to the CEO, a pivotal role aimed at supporting the company’s strategic growth over the coming years. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the executive team, this individual will be responsible for overseeing key initiatives and ensuring accountability for company-wide goals. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of strategic insight, operational expertise, and strong leadership skills, along with a proven ability to manage complex projects. They are proactive problem-solvers with keen attention to detail, high emotional intelligence, and a natural aptitude for navigating change and ambiguity. Highly collaborative, action-oriented, and results-driven, they will also be trusted with handling sensitive information with utmost discretion.

This will be a full-time, exempt position based 100% onsite in Orlando, FL.

Responsibilities

Executive Team Leadership and Special Projects:

  • Assist the CEO in day-to-day operational management of the business and in ensuring the company’s top priorities are being effectively executed.
  • Own prioritization and execution of key company strategic initiatives by partnering with the executive team and internal functions.
  • Enhance the effectiveness of key meetings by setting effective agendas and driving high-quality content and output, including preparation and meeting follow-ups.

Operations:

  • Support the development and drive the scorecard success metrics and KPIs. Monitor key metrics and flag areas of concern.
  • Own and continuously improve company operating cadence (e.g. executive team meetings, leadership offsites, quarterly goal reviews, quarterly board meetings).
  • Seek areas for improvement and innovation to make the overall business run more smoothly and drive growth.

Communications & Team Leadership:

  • Assist with communications between and from the leadership to the wider team.
  • Lead the preparation and development of all executive presentations, including but not limited to all hands meetings, internal and external speaking engagements, offsites, and events.
  • Manage the Document Control Manager and Driver and have a dotted line relationship to the Executive Assistant and Office Manager.

Recommended Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with proven experience in a Chief of Staff or operations leadership role, with 2+ years of direct people management experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management, analytical and logic skills and operating within the Traction EOS framework is plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to thoroughly and quickly understand the business and related tools and protocols.
  • Advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines, showcasing strong ownership, organizational, and time-management capabilities under pressure.
  • Skilled in professional and diplomatic written and verbal communication, capable of engaging effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders with high executive presence.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
  • A natural curiosity to learn more about AI automation and data trends.
  • Understanding of the home building, real-estate or a related industry, is preferred.
  • Available to work onsite daily in Orlando, FL.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% or as needed.

Compensation Range : DOE $130,000 - $150,000 USD annual salary + bonus
