Job Description

The Chief Revenue Officer for the Dixie Chemical Group is a Senior-Level Executive position with responsibility for overseeing all revenue-generating activities and delivering the Company's revenue goals by effectively leading all commercial aspects of the business including sales, marketing, pricing strategy, customer relationship management, and business development; with a focus on achieving double-digit revenue growth and expanding market share within designated chemical markets.

Must currently reside in Houston, TX area.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage individual sales team leaders with direct revenue responsibilities, setting sales targets and overseeing sales processes to ensure efficient lead generation and conversion.
  • Expand and execute a 12–18-month strategic plan.
  • Establish both short-term and long-term revenue goals ensuring alignment with the company’s overall vision.
  • Drive execution of commercial plans and revenue for multiple business segments–
  • Contract Manufacturing, Paper & Pulp, Fuel & Lubricants, Oil & Gas, Thermosets, Iron Carbon Powders, and Specialties. expand the organization to support significant growth.
  • Develop, motivate, and lead a high-performance sales organization with the ability to drive high levels of customer retention and new customer growth.
  • Develop & Lead Specialty Projects – JV’s, collaboration with operating companies, competitors (Co-Manufacturing),and other potential growth-oriented relationships.
  • Work collaboratively across functions including Operations, Finance, R&D, HS&E, HR, Procurement, and Supply Chain.
  • Represent Dixie Chemical Group entities at industry events and tradeshows.
  • Organize commercial content and communication to Private Equity Owner GDH.

Experience:

  • 10-20+ years in Chemical Manufacturing Roles
  • 10+ years in a Senior Management Role
  • Experience in Paper & Pulp, Fuel, Lubricant, Coating, Adhesives, Composites, or Epoxy resin is a plus.
  • Transforming the Sales Organization into a highly focused results-oriented team.
  • BS Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Business - MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years Managing a Sales Team
  • International experience particularly in Europe and South America
  • Merger and Acquisition including integration experience
