Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS)

Location: San Jose, California

Job Type: 13 Weeks Contract

Shifts: 15:00-23:30 (PM shift)

Position Overview:

Pride Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to join our healthcare team in San Jose, CA. This is a 13-week contract position offering guaranteed hours. This is an excellent opportunity for CLS professionals with Blood Bank experience looking to work in a dynamic and supportive hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical laboratory tests in Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Chemistry, and Blood Bank.
• Operate laboratory equipment including Coulter 780, Siemens 2500, Beckman Urisys, and Ortho Vitros 7600.
• Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and precision.
• Maintain patient confidentiality while adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
• Document and report laboratory findings accurately using Meditech.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate results.
• Ensure that lab equipment is calibrated and maintained according to protocols.
• Adhere to all hospital and regulatory policies and standards.

Qualifications:

• Certification: Must hold an active California CLS license.
• Experience: Blood Bank experience is required. Experience with Meditech is preferred.
• Skills: Proficient in laboratory testing, data interpretation, and laboratory safety procedures.
• Additional Requirements: Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
