Position Summary:

We are seeking Clinical Social Workers (Bilingual English/Spanish) to join the team at Urban Health Plan. Our Clinical associates work in the capacity of psychotherapists, providing our patients with individual therapy. Opportunities are in the Bronx, Manhattan, and Queens to work in one of our specified divisions including:

• The Behavioral Health Services Division within our outpatient primary care health centers

As a Clinical Social Worker at Urban Health Plan you will have an opportunity to work with children and/or adults and families and to promote the health and wellness of our patients through evidence-based clinical therapy. We are primarily seeking full time (40 regular hours) associates, however some part time options are available as well.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Social Work required.
• NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish, strongly preferred
• Familiarity with evidence-based modalities.
• 2+ years of previous experience in a mental health clinic, hospital, behavioral health, or similar setting required.

Key Duties:

• Provides bio-psychosocial assessments and clinical diagnostic assessments.
• Conducts individual psychotherapy and counseling services to children and/or adults and families.
• Maintains skills and knowledge in clinical theory and practice to help patients overcome dependencies, adjust to life, and making changes.
• Provides counseling to family members to assist with understanding and supporting patients.
• Engages in crisis intervention when necessary and refers patients or family to community resources.
• Provides consultation to medical providers. Collaborates with physicians to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs.
• Participates in clinical team meetings.

Starting Compensation:

Minimum $85,000 per year; Maximum $94,000 per year

Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule:

Onsite, Bronx, NY, 5 Shifts per week between Monday and Saturday operating hours including 8:00am-5:00 pm, 9:00 am- 6:00 pm and 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
