Job Description

Our client, a growing organization with under 1,000 employees, including a mix of salaried and hourly staff, is seeking a Compensation Manager to lead and refine their compensation strategies. This role is ideal for candidates who have experience in smaller organizations and are comfortable working in a hands-on, analytical capacity



Compensation Manager Responsibilities:

• Design, analyze, and implement total rewards programs to ensure competitive and equitable compensation
• Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis for both hourly and salaried employees
• Develop and maintain compensation structures, pay scales, and incentive plans
• Ensure compliance with FLSA, EEOC, and wage laws while maintaining internal pay equity
• Partner with HR and leadership to align compensation strategies with business objectives
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations on compensation trends and best practices
• Support international compensation efforts as needed (experience preferred but not required)

Compensation Manager Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in compensation analysis with a focus on both salaried and hourly employees
• Experience working in smaller organizations where compensation programs are evolving
• Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and HRIS systems
• In-depth knowledge of FLSA, EEOC, wage compliance, total rewards, salary benchmarking and compensation structures
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex compensation data
• Experience with international compensation is a plus but not required
