Position: Content Editor (Full-Time)
Location: This is a remote position available to candidates residing in Los Angeles, New York, or Denver. Please note that applications from candidates outside of California, Colorado, and New York cannot be considered.
Overview
Are you a passionate wordsmith with a keen eye for detail? We are looking for a Content Editor who thrives on perfecting written content and has a love for fashion and home goods. In this role, you will oversee our interior design and fashion accounts, collaborating with a talented team of Content Editors, Creative Directors, Copywriters, and Engagement Managers. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, involves ensuring that every piece of content shines with clarity and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
Review and edit content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, consistency, style, and overall quality for fashion and home goods projects.
Collaborate with the Creative team to develop and enhance ideas, ensuring alignment with the brand's tone, style, and messaging.
Maintain documentation for brand and project style guidelines.
Support the Creative team with fact-checking and editing during digital asset development.
Provide constructive feedback to writers to help them improve and adhere to editorial guidelines.
Ensure high-quality standards for all content, meeting client objectives and resonating with target audiences.
Evaluate content submissions for legal, ethical, or policy concerns, making necessary reviews.
Assist with the development and maintenance of review processes.
Qualifications
3 to 5 years of editorial experience, preferably in an agency setting with entertainment or brand clients.
Strong fact-checking skills and experience with specific client brands.
Exceptional editorial abilities, focusing on grammar, punctuation, style, tone, and formatting.
Excellent research, proofreading, and fact-checking skills.
Familiarity with social media marketing, particularly on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Facebook.
Basic understanding of graphic design principles.
Strong collaboration and communication skills within a team.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Confidence in discussing home goods, fashion, and entertainment topics.
Familiarity with APA, MLA, and Chicago style guides.

Salary & Compensation
In compliance with local and state laws, the salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 per year. Individual compensation may vary based on location, experience, and qualifications. We strive to provide competitive salaries and ensure pay equity across the organization.
