Job Description

We are seeking a Field Support Technician to join our team in Denver, CO. This role will work closely with senior managers and executive sponsors to support data management projects, mobilize new client accounts, and assist with the expansion of existing accounts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-user support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring seamless IT operations within a corporate environment.

Job Title: Field Support Technician

Location: Denver, CO 80202

Job Type: 4-6 Month Contract (Potential for Extension or Conversion)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level I & II technical support for end-user software and hardware issues.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the local area network (LAN).
  • Install and upgrade Microsoft Windows operating systems , business applications, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot desktop virus and malware issues.
  • Perform service administration tasks to ensure manufacturer warranty compliance.
  • Debug, test, and collaborate with vendors to resolve software and hardware problems.
  • Provide recommendations for software enhancements and process improvements.
  • Offer technical guidance and informal training to coworkers as needed.
  • Coordinate work assignments and assist in project execution.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or field support roles.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (relevant experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows/365 Suite and remote troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and interpret technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to effectively communicate with a broad audience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with office moves, adds, and changes (MACs) .
  • Familiarity with IT project work in a corporate environment.
