Job Description

12pm-8:30pm - 2nd Shift

Supervise the daily activities of the distribution center, ensuring:

  • Accurate inventories
  • High fulfillment rates
  • World-class customer service
  • Cost control to meet business objectives

Essential Job Functions1. Pick and Pack

  • Supervise and track data on picking
  • Ensure accurate accounting of inventory
  • Oversee service team leads and all pick and pack team members

2. Shipping and Receiving

  • Supervise receiving shipments, verifying transactions, and stocking inventory
  • Track and address receiving issues related to vendors or freight carriers
  • Oversee service team lead and all receiving members

3. General Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with service team leads and all team members
  • Ensure backlog of orders and product receipts meet customer requirements
  • Train personnel on proper procedures
  • Report policy violations or discipline issues to the Distribution Center Manager
  • Record transaction data in the warehouse/distribution management system (Neterprise)
  • Follow, support, and enforce all company policies and employment laws
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning facility, systems, and equipment
  • Hire, discipline, and conduct performance reviews for associates
  • Represent and promote the company professionally at all times

4. Assignment

  • Work in all areas of the warehouse as assigned
  • Be accountable for inventory, equipment, and critical facility items
  • Assist management with work solutions and employee issues as needed

Essential Job Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent military training

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in warehousing and distribution within a fast-paced pick-and-pack environment

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Skills

  • Strong multitasking abilities
  • Excellent personnel management skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
