Title: Field Service Technician

Locations: Windsor, CT

Hire Type: Direct Hire

Shift & Hours: 6 AM/7 AM to 4PM

Pay Rate: $23-$25/hr and commission up to $20k annually

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Operate a company vehicle safely and in compliance with state and federal DOT laws.
2. Adhere to established safety procedures.
3. Complete daily service orders promptly.
4. Perform diagnostics, installations, or removals of residential and commercial water treatment equipment; identify malfunctions and resolve accordingly.
5. Foster customer relationships through direct interaction, effectively communicating equipment status and providing problem-solving solutions.
6. Ensure timely collection of payments upon service completion and assist in the collection of past due receivables.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Valid driver’s license.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
3. Familiarity with the city area where duties will be performed.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written).
5. Candidates offered a position must undergo a DOT physical (at the time of hire and every two years thereafter), a drug screen, and a background check in compliance with state and federal laws.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift up to 80-100 pounds.
2. Ability to drive for extended periods (2-3 hours).
3. Ability to kneel/bend for extended periods.
