Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as an IT Financial Operations Asset Analyst. In this role, you will support the financial management of IT assets, ensuring that our resources are effectively tracked, managed, and optimized. This position is perfect for someone eager to start a career at the intersection of IT and finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Asset Management: Assist in tracking and managing the lifecycle of IT assets, including hardware and software, to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Financial Analysis: Support the analysis of IT asset costs, including procurement, maintenance, and disposal, to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Data Management: Maintain and update asset databases, ensuring all financial data related to IT assets is accurate and up-to-date.
Reporting: Generate financial reports related to IT assets, including budget forecasts, expenditure tracking, and asset depreciation schedules.
Collaboration: Work closely with IT and finance teams to align asset management practices with financial policies and procedures.
Audit Support: Assist in preparing for audits by providing necessary documentation and reports related to IT asset financials.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Skills:
o Basic understanding of financial principles and IT asset management.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
o Familiarity with ITSM/Asset Solutions (understanding workflow, tracking, integrations, and simple scripting).
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Experience : Previous internship or experience in finance or IT asset management is a plus but not required.
