HVAC Technician – Facilities Management
Are you a skilled HVAC professional looking for a dynamic role? We’re seeking a dedicated HVAC Technician to join our Facilities Management team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing building mechanical equipment and components while ensuring HVAC and refrigeration systems operate efficiently. You’ll report directly to the Director of FM Operations and play a key role in keeping our facilities running smoothly.
What You’ll Do:
✔️ Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC-R) systems.
✔️ Inspect, install, and service mechanical equipment, including compressors, condensers, pumps, valves, and ventilation units.
✔️ Conduct routine preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with building codes.
✔️ Work with building automation systems and provide support for food service equipment repairs.
✔️ Source and procure tools, parts, and equipment as needed for projects and repairs.
✔️ Adjust and install gauges, thermostats, controllers, pressure regulators, and other HVAC system components.
✔️ Share expertise and provide training to team members to enhance skillsets.
✔️ Support additional facilities management tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
&##128313; Experience in HVAC maintenance, repair, and installation.
&##128313; Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
&##128313; Ability to work with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
&##128313; Knowledge of building codes and compliance standards.
&##128313; A team player who takes pride in keeping facilities in top condition.
Requirements:
~ High School Diploma or equivalent
~1+ years working as a part of a light/heavy commercial construction or service team performing service, repair and installation of mechanical systems and components.
~ HVAC Class B/Limited Journeyman License or verifiable documentation of mechanical experience in states that do not require licensing.
~ EPA I & II or Universal License and HVAC Certification
~ Must have a valid driver's license.
~ Familiar with working under a standardized process
