Job Description

We have partnered with a food and beverage company headquartered in Sherman Oaks and they are actively seeking an HR Generalist to join their team.

The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting core HR functions with a strong focus on timekeeping, along with HR functions including onboarding / offboarding . This role requires hands-on experience with Dayforce/Ceridian systems and at least 2 years of HR-related experience in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, dependable, and capable of working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily HR operations including employee support, recordkeeping, and policy compliance

• Oversee and maintain timekeeping systems (Dayforce/Ceridian), ensuring accurate employee data entry and time tracking

• Audit timecards for completeness and accuracy prior to payroll processing; identify and resolve discrepancies

• Partner closely with the Payroll department to ensure smooth and timely processing of payroll

• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring proper documentation and system updates

• Maintain compliance with labor laws and company policies

• Support managers and employees with timekeeping inquiries and training as needed

• Participate in HR projects and initiatives related to process improvement, compliance, and employee engagement

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably within food & beverage, manufacturing, or related industries

• Hands-on experience with Dayforce/Ceridian is required

• Strong understanding of timekeeping and payroll processes

• Experience auditing and troubleshooting timecards and timesheet discrepancies

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
