Job Description

Aegis is seeking a Maintenance Technician with experience in the Food & Beverage industry to join one of our clients on the Northwest side of Indianapolis. This is a direct hire position with competitive pay and benefits!

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, including filling machines, seamers, case packers, palletizers, conveyors, pasteurizer, & blending equipment
• Maintain and troubleshoot facilities based equipment, such as boilers and chillers.
• Responsible for completing electrical repairs and troubleshooting on gearboxes, motors, and conveyor systems.
• Document maintenance work within the internal system.
• Complete preventative maintenance on equipment, cleaning, greasing, and dismantling equipment as necessary.

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years of maintenance experience within the food & beverage manufacturing industry.
• Experience with electrical maintenance, including wiring, motors, gearboxes, and troubleshooting conveyor systems.
• Experience with parts replacement on production equipment, including gears, bearings, nuts, bolts, and machine components.
• Experience with facilities maintenance – including work on boilers & chillers.
• Ability to work on overnight shift.
• Positive and collaborative attitude.
• Sense of urgency.

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Two or more years of related experience in can or bottle production and/or training required.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
