A trusted leader in cloud, digital engineering, data, and Artificial Intelligence, the nation looks to SAIC to integrate emerging technology to modernize critical missions and enable its national imperatives. To address the growing demands within the Department of Defense, SAIC is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Junior Business Process Analyst to provide Platform Infrastructure Management support for our Digital and AI Team as we embark on a large initiative to lead the design and operate integrated Enterprise IT solutions that deliver AI-enabled capabilities and enable data-driven decision making to missions across the Department, Services, and Combatant Commands.
- Assist in the analysis and improvement of business processes, particularly in IT environments.
- Support the design and management of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes for Advana platforms, including software development, testing, integration, staging, and provisioning operations.
- Help in implementing processes that disallow administrator changes to downstream Advana System staging environments, including Test, Integration, Staging, and Production.
- Contribute to the preparation, implementation, and maintenance of a System Backup and Recovery Plan and provide support for failure recovery to ensure the ability to restore services and applications.
- Assist in the design, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Change Management processes to ensure all changes are assessed, approved, implemented, reviewed, and validated via the Advana CCB process.
- Support the design and operation of a comprehensive Change and Configuration Management plan and process that manages all aspects of change and configuration management for the Advana System.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by conducting ongoing searches and evaluations of new commercial data, analytic, and AI technologies and by supporting the integration of new technologies into the Advana System baseline.
- Aid in the design, implementation, and maintenance of policy-based governance mechanisms for managing the access and use of Advana System resources, including cloud capacity, tools and services, pipelines, data, analytics, AI models, and decision apps.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and five (5) years or more experience; Master's degree and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and zero 0 years related experience in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience or internship in analyzing and improving business processes.
- Basic understanding of change management principles and processes.
- Familiarity with configuration management concepts and processes.
- Awareness of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes.
- Basic knowledge of system backup and recovery planning.
- Awareness of policy-based governance mechanisms for managing resource access and usage, including understanding cloud capacity, data pipelines, and analytics.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct searches and evaluations of new technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and assist in various phases of process improvement and change implementation.
- Security+ Certification.
- US Citizenship and TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a CI Poly is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Project Management Professional (PMP), or ITIL Foundation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and platforms like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Experience in IT or tech-heavy environments.
- Experience in advanced change management activities.
- Proven experience in continuous technology improvement efforts.
- Experience in designing and implementing policy-based governance.
- Basic technical knowledge related to cloud services, AI, and data analytics.
- AWS AI Practitioner Certification.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification.
SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
