Job Title: Logistics Supervisor

Shift: 1st Shift

Pay: $70-90K Annual Salary

Job Description:

We are seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead and oversee our 1st shift operations in Gurnee, IL. This role is responsible for managing daily logistics, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse supervision and will be skilled in optimizing workflows, coordinating teams, and maintaining a high level of productivity and safety. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a BIG plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate shipping, receiving, inventory control, and distribution activities.
• Lead and manage a team of warehouse associates, ensuring operational goals and performance metrics are met.
• Ensure on-time shipments and deliveries by effectively managing schedules, staffing, and workflow.
• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy, working closely with the warehouse and supply chain teams.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
• Train, develop, and mentor team members to enhance productivity and job performance.
• Collaborate with internal departments (production, customer service, procurement) to streamline logistics processes and resolve any issues.
• Analyze logistics data and generate reports to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or distribution supervision.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and warehouse management.
• Proficiency in logistics software, WMS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a BIG plus.
• Experience with Lean principles or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
• Forklift certification and familiarity with warehouse equipment preferred.

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Full-time, 1st shift position with occasional overtime as needed.
• Fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment with hands-on supervision.
