Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in the aerospace sector, specializing in the production of high-quality fasteners. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure the efficient and cost-effective production of aerospace fasteners that meet stringent industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement manufacturing processes for aerospace fasteners, ensuring compliance with industry specifications and regulations.
Conduct analyses and simulations to improve product designs and manufacturing methods.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality assurance, and production, to facilitate the development and release of new fastener products.
Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, ensuring timely production and delivery.
Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes, equipment, and product specifications.
Monitor production processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain quality standards.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience in manufacturing engineering, particularly in the aerospace or fastener industry.
Strong knowledge of machining and fabrication processes.
Proficiency in CAD software and engineering analysis tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of aerospace industry standards (e.g., AS9100).
Familiarity with fastener design and specifications.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
