Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Laboratory Technologist to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Huntersville, North Carolina. This permanent opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

  • Performs laboratory analysis on specimens to provide clinical data for diagnosis, treatment, and disease prevention.
  • Ensures overall quality, efficiency, and safety in technical duties.
  • Follows testing procedures and quality assurance guidelines; documents corrective actions for non-conforming events.
  • Prepares reagents and manages supply inventory to minimize waste and costs.
  • Uses clinical judgment to prioritize, problem-solve, and troubleshoot test systems with appropriate channels (e.g., hotline, service setup).
  • Assists with reviewing and updating procedures/documentation for accreditation and regulatory compliance (CAP, TJC, OSHA, etc.).
  • Maintains real-time, clear communication with other shifts and leadership about patient care or operational concerns.
  • Participates in departmental planning and change implementation through meetings, task forces, and projects.
  • Engages in the competency assessment program when qualified.
  • Works in a fast-paced clinical environment with exposure to biohazards, chemicals, and mechanical risks.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree
  • MT (ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree

Job Type: Permanent

Schedule: 3x12 7:00pm - 7:30am

Pay Range: $23.65 - $35.50 (Negotiable)

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
