Job Description & Responsibilities

• Join an established group of 4 Ophthalmologists and 3 Optometrists
• Current need is for high volume cataract surgeon-general ophthalmologist
• Currently there are specialists in medical retina, pediatrics and glaucoma. Sub-specialty interest in glaucoma, oculoplastic, cornea and cataract surgery would be welcome
• The support staff is well trained and experienced in both the clinic and operating room
• On call is every 5th weekend and rarely busy
• Salary Range: $400,000 – $488,140. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
• Sign on Bonus up to $100,000.

Job Qualifications

• MD, DO or MBBS
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• NYS Licensure
• BLS Certification Required
