SAIC is seeking an Organizational Strategy Development SME to support Air Combat Command and the Combat Air Forces at Langley/Hampton, VA.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

• Develop and present orders-based strategies for shifts in organization, function, or process at the Major Command level for Air Combat Command and the Combat Air Forces in response to or supporting command senior leadership direction, requirements, or desires.
• Supports evolving concepts for the Future Operations Division in support of ACC and CAF needs.
• Presents response to tasks through Division leadership to the Command, as directed. Assists leadership with management with decision-making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions.
• May collect and analyze data and develop decision support products or presentations.
• May develop timeline and implementation schemes and POAMs.
• Applies advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
• Contributes to development of new principles and concepts.
• Participates with senior leaders and managers to establish strategic plans and objectives.
• Recommends/makes decisions or courses of action on administrative or project work matters and ensures effective achievement of program, project, or organizational objectives.
• Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions or options as directed.
• Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. .

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and 14 years; or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree
• US Citizen and currently possess a Top Secret Clearance
• Senior military leadership experience (O-6 or above) with command experience at last rank held.
• Experience with organizational policy development and execution in dynamic and emergent environments.
• Previous experience with organizational optimization at the major command level.
• Joint and combined knowledge and experience highly desired.
• Interdepartmental (e.g. Department of State, Homeland Security) experience highly desired.
• ACC staff and Pentagon staff experience highly desired.
