Job Summary:

• Looking for a reliable, friendly and energetic team member to join our patient oriented periodontics practice.
• Answer patient phone calls, texts and emails.
• Manage, update, and follow up with new patients and unscheduled treatment.
• Responsible for maintaining a full and productive schedule.
• Ensure necessary forms, x-rays and information are obtained prior to appointment.
• Calculate patients' estimated out of pocket prior to patients’ visits.
• Obtain high treatment plan acceptance by educating the patient on the diagnosis, treatment, cost, insurance coverage and financial options.
• Exceed patient expectations in customer service.
• Communicate and keep patients informed throughout their visit.
• Build and maintain productive referral relationships.
• Build word of mouth referrals and encourage patients to write 5 star reviews.

Job Qualifications

Required:

• Team player/Adaptable

• Basic knowledge of dental terminology & insurance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Quick and willing learner.
• Proficient with computers and technology.
• Ability to multi-task, detail oriented.
• Customer service oriented and takes initiative.
• Typing Speed: 40+ wpm.

Preferred:

• Understanding of periodontics & implants.
• Experience with dental PPO insurance.
• Experience with Eaglesoft, Vyne and Weave.
• X-ray license.
• Sales experience.
