Job Description – Performance testing Engineer

Preferred In person(onsite) work Locations - (Pittsburgh/Phoenix/Cleveland/Birmingham/Dallas)

We at Claruim are looking for a dedicated, customer-oriented Performance Testing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding customer service skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a natural aptitude for managing projects effectively.

Key responsibilities:

• In consultation with the Product Owner, making decisions including removal of impediments based on information provided by Scrum teams/POs and other stakeholders. Ensures solid product vision together with all Product Owners and provides guidance on backlog prioritization based on business value.
• Pressure tests iteration plans and scope. Reviews WIP, demos and provides feedback as necessary. Determines if iteration outcome is acceptable from functional/non-functional aspects
• Reviews for final deliverables, approves and coordinates acceptance among SMEs. Partners with independent risk management to ensure requirements are met and that products are integrated and deployed successfully to production)
• Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
• Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support Client's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Education:

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Master’s degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable.

Required skills and Desired Experience

Work Experience

· At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Required

• 8+ years of Industry experience. Experience team player capable of uplifting and developing junior software engineers.
• 5+ years of experience in a Performance Engineer or Testing role.
• Experience with OpenText (HP) Load Runner/Performance Center and JMeter.
• Experience with APM tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics or others.
• Exposure to Container Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift.
• Advance knowledge of performance engineering principles and practices.
• Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Improvement & Agile/DevOps Best Practices.
• Solid communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, willing to take initiative, capable of building out a practice from the ground up, and able to apply new technologies when appropriate.

Desired

• 5+ years of Software Engineering with languages like Golang, Python, Java or Javascript.
• Experience with Container Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift.
