Job Title: Press Brake Operator – Metal Fabrication

Location: Denver, Colorado

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: All shifts - 1st, 2nd, or 3rd

Compensation: $22-$27/hr DOE based on experience, plus benefits (offering $3 extra for night shift)

Job Description:

Industrial Talent Group is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our metal fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating press brakes to bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to precise specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC and/or manual press brakes to form metal components according to blueprints and work orders.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Select appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings for proper bending angles and tolerances.
• Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot and make adjustments to machines to maintain production efficiency and quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company and OSHA safety standards.
• Assist with general fabrication tasks as needed, including material handling and machine maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating a press brake in a metal fabrication setting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with different types of metals, such as aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel.
• Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with CNC press brakes and programming is a plus.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus.
