Position Overview:

The Supply Chain COE Manager [ Procurement Operations Manager ] will play a key leadership role in driving process innovation, standardization, and project management across global supply chain and procurement functions. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Services, this role is tasked with enhancing operational excellence across sourcing, procurement, and materials management activities.

This position oversees a team of up to five direct reports, supports early-career rotational programs, and acts as a key driver in implementing best-in-class reporting, metrics, and process improvements. The COE will also serve as a second-tier system support for key platforms like SAP, Ariba, BW, SAC, Hana, BWP HANA, Supplier Enablement, and PowerBi, while identifying new technologies and efficiencies to strengthen department operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:

• Lead the development of process improvements and operational enhancements across procurement, demand planning, and materials management globally.
• Manage the department’s KPIs and performance metrics, ensuring consistent reporting standards and actionable insights.
• Develop a 3–5 year strategic vision to advance Source-to-Pay and inventory management capabilities.
• Champion best practices for end-to-end procurement, supply chain, and materials management initiatives.

Process Excellence:

• Drive the design and implementation of a unified source-to-pay framework across the enterprise.
• Standardize supply chain processes while aligning initiatives with regional and global strategies.
• Oversee compliance across procurement and inbound supply chain processes, including root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across procurement, operations, IT, finance, and global business teams.

Governance and Optimization:

• Build a strategic roadmap to enhance planning processes and increase operational maturity.
• Deploy change management strategies to support the adoption of new processes and systems.
• Measure and track performance improvements, benefits realization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Technology Enablement:

• Identify, evaluate, and champion new technologies that drive planning and sourcing efficiencies, including leveraging AI/ML where applicable.
• Lead business cases for system upgrades and oversee related implementations across supply chain technology platforms.
• Support and optimize use of SAP, Ariba, BW, SAC, Hana, and PowerBi to enhance process effectiveness and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience within supply chain, procurement, planning (S&OP), or materials management functions.
• Deep knowledge of source-to-pay workflows and procurement best practices.
• Strong financial acumen with experience supporting operational budgets and sourcing initiatives.

Skills and Attributes:

• Strong leadership and team development skills (5+ direct reports).
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to mine data and derive insights.
• Expertise in SAP MM, Ariba, Supplier Enablement, and PowerBi.
• Effective communicator capable of influencing and collaborating across multiple functions and levels.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement long-term solutions.
• Adaptable, results-driven, and highly organized, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives.
• Experienced in managing large-scale change initiatives and technology rollouts.
