Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a proven track record in managing  ground-up construction projects from inception through to completion. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of construction project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Lead the development of project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to align on project objectives.
  • Project Execution: Oversee daily operations of the construction site, ensuring compliance with all building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Manage and direct construction teams, contractors, and vendors.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks early and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress against plans, making adjustments as necessary to meet project goals.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality assurance and control measures to ensure construction meets or exceeds design specifications and client expectations.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders including clients, investors, regulatory bodies, and team members. Provide regular updates and manage expectations.
  • Budget Management: Control project costs by managing expenses, negotiating contracts, and securing competitive bids. Ensure all financial reporting is accurate and timely.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, from initial planning through to project closeout, including permits, contracts, change orders, and final inspections.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with at least 5 years specifically in ground-up commercial, residential, or industrial projects.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing large-scale construction projects from the ground up.
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), CCM (Certified Construction Manager), or equivalent preferred.

Pay: $120,000-$150,000
