Ferretti Search is excited to partner with a growing industrial contractor in the Southeast to find a Project Manager / Estimator to join their Millwright Division. This dual-role position offers the best of both worlds: preconstruction leadership and boots-on-the-ground execution. Ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, team-driven, high-accountability environment with a strong pipeline of challenging projects.

Project Manager / Estimator – Millwright Division

Location: Davidson, NC (Relocation Assistance Available)

Compensation: $95,000–$120,000 base salary + 5–15% Annual Bonus + Company Vehicle + Card for Expenses

What will your day look like?

• Review RFQs, project plans, and conduct jobsite visits to create detailed cost estimates and proposals.
• Lead project execution—schedule kickoff, subcontractor coordination, material procurement, and client interaction.
• Work cross-functionally with estimators, operations managers, and superintendents to ensure quality and profitability.
• Prepare and present change orders, track schedules, and ensure performance meets customer expectations and safety standards.

Who are you?

• Industrial Experience: You’ve worked in millwright services, including equipment rigging and installation, welding, alignment, and piping.
• Well-Rounded: You understand the full lifecycle of a project—preconstruction through closeout—and can lead it effectively.
• Detail-Oriented Communicator: You're proficient in estimating tools and project documentation and confident presenting to internal teams and external clients.
• Proven Leader: You're ready to lead without direct reports, coordinate cross-functional teams, and bring solutions to the table.

Bonus Points For:

• Familiarity with rigging, piping systems, welding/fabrication, and subcontracted electrical services
• Ability to navigate RFQs, contracts, and change orders with minimal oversight
• OSHA 10 (or willingness to complete)
