Job Description

Precision. Pride. Performance. – Quality Control Technician at Hendrick Motorsports

At Hendrick Motorsports, precision isn’t just a goal—it’s the competitive edge. We’re seeking a Quality Control Technician who doesn’t just inspect parts, but thinks critically, solves problems, and takes pride in doing things right. This role goes beyond surface-level checks; it's about ensuring race-ready quality through methodical inspection, technical skill, and relentless curiosity.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform meticulous manual measurements using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators
  • Operate and collect data with Romer arms, with emphasis on Hexagon Romer hardware and software (e.g., Power Inspect)
  • Execute inspection plans designed by our Quality Control Engineer, including First Article and In-Process Inspections
  • Accurately document inspection results, track part compliance, and assist in maintaining quality traceability
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with inspection equipment or process anomalies, working toward root-cause—not just quick fixes
  • Contribute feedback to improve inspection workflows, measurement repeatability, and equipment calibration

What Sets You Apart:

  • You’re a problem solver who doesn’t stop at symptoms—you dig deeper.
  • You think critically and are comfortable working independently, yet value collaboration.
  • You have a keen eye for detail and an even stronger desire to understand the why behind the data.
  • You’re proactive, precise, and passionate about helping high-performance machines deliver exactly as designed.

What You Bring:

  • High School diploma or equivalent: Required
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree: Preferred
  • Prior experience in quality control, inspection, or precision measurement (motorsports or manufacturing preferred)
  • Proficiency with Romer arms required; Hexagon software experience is a strong plus
  • Solid computer skills are essential, with some exposure to programming (VBA, Python, etc.) considered a plus
  • Knowledge of GD&T, part tolerancing, and blueprint interpretation
  • A hands-on mindset with mechanical aptitude and an eagerness to learn

We Win With Values:

At Hendrick Motorsports, our values aren’t words—they’re a way of life:

  • Integrity – We do what’s right, not what’s easy
  • Enthusiasm – We’re energized by the pursuit of excellence
  • Winning – We chase victory through preparation and performance
  • Accountability – We own our work and deliver with pride
  • Teamwork – We support, respect, and grow with one another
  • Improvement – We never settle—there’s always a next level

Why Hendrick?

You’ll be part of a team that builds race-winning components with pride, purpose, and precision. Here, quality isn't an afterthought—it’s the edge. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves, put your skills to work, and grow in an environment built on excellence, Hendrick Motorsports is where you belong.

Apply today and bring your best to the team that expects—and builds—the best.
