Title: Scrum Master

Location: Beaverton, OR

Duration: 10 months contract

What You Will Work On

  • Guiding 3–4 cross-functional Agile squads, ensuring the effective application of Agile methodologies.
  • Building a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging reflection, feedback, and best practices.
  • Facilitating discussions and decision-making within and between teams to promote success.
  • Providing Agile coaching and training to team members, enhancing their understanding and adoption of Agile methodologies.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to refine priorities and maintain alignment with evolving business objectives.

What You Will Do

  • Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure adherence to Scrum principles and foster an environment of collaboration and transparency.
  • Identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder team progress to ensure smooth delivery of value.
  • Track and communicate team performance using Agile metrics to support data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to align development efforts with business goals.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience leading multiple Agile teams, with adaptability and resilience in a dynamic environment.
  • Comprehensive expertise as a Scrum Master, including fostering collaboration, driving continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to manage complex challenges, remove impediments, and maintain focus on team goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to guide teams and foster stakeholder relationships.
  • Familiarity with Nike’s culture and workflows is highly preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree and substantial experience in Agile environments, with a strong emphasis on character and soft skills over years of experience.
