Our client, a premier Italian-based manufacturer of cutting-edge tissue converting machinery, is seeking a skilled and motivated Accountant to join their growing U.S. branch. As the Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial and administrative operations of a dynamic branch office supporting 15 talented professionals. Your Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Numbers: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
  • Deliver Insights: Prepare and submit detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that drive decision-making.
  • Be a Strategic Partner: Collaborate with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to align with corporate goals.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, supporting internal and external audits.
  • Drive Efficiency: Analyze financial data to optimize branch operations and implement process improvements for greater accuracy and efficiency.
  • Champion Communication: Serve as the financial liaison between the U.S. team and Italian headquarters, fostering seamless collaboration.
  • Support Beyond Finance: Flexibly assist in general administrative duties to support the team and business objectives.

What We’re Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience , ideally in a small-to-medium-sized organization or branch office.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills .
  • Sales Tax experience
  • Insurance renewal experience
  • Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and matrix organizational structures (a plus).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
