Senior Copywriter
Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced, creative Senior Copywriter to shape and maintain our brand's voice across all customer interactions. In this role, you'll play a key part in defining and evolving our tone, ensuring consistency throughout our communications, and leading our global expansion efforts. You'll also oversee a team of external copywriters and agencies, ensuring that our brand voice is cohesive and adaptable across various promotional and brand channels.
As part of our global, omni-channel team, you'll have the opportunity to make an impact on operations worldwide. This position plays a pivotal role in aligning our brand message with business objectives, driving success across markets and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
Hire, mentor, and motivate both internal team members and external partners (e.g., agencies, consultants, SaaS partners) to create a collaborative work environment that delivers exceptional results.
Voice Consistency and Cohesion:
Conduct an initial review to align the brand's voice across all customer touchpoints, ensuring a unified tone that resonates across platforms, product categories, and global markets.
Maintain and adapt the brand voice to be cohesive yet flexible, catering to both promotional and brand communication needs.
Develop and implement guidelines to ensure the brand voice remains relevant and effective in all campaigns and marketing initiatives.
Copywriting:
Write and manage copy across all product categories, ensuring consistent messaging that appeals to diverse audiences.
Coordinate and align copy strategies across various countries, sales channels (e.g., retail, wholesale, e-commerce), and marketing platforms (e.g., digital, print, social media).
Drive the development of copy strategies that support omni-channel marketing, creating a cohesive global brand experience.
International Scaling:
Oversee and collaborate with external copywriters and agencies to scale the brand voice effectively across languages and markets, ensuring that translations retain the brand's essence while adapting to cultural differences.
Content Review and Quality Assurance:
Review and approve all written content, maintaining brand standards and project goals.
Establish a quality assurance process to ensure all communications are clear, consistent, and impactful.
Content Optimization & Testing:
Use data insights to refine and optimize copy, enhancing engagement and conversion rates.
Conduct A/B testing to continually improve content performance, identifying what resonates best with our audience.
Implement SEO best practices in written content to improve organic search visibility.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with marketing, product development, and external agencies to ensure cohesive, impactful messaging.
Work closely with the creative team, including designers and content producers, to seamlessly integrate copy into visual storytelling.
Partner with the Creative Director and other team leaders to align content with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
At least 5 years of professional copywriting experience, including 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
Strong portfolio showcasing copywriting expertise, brand voice development, and multi-channel content strategy.
Experience managing external teams and coordinating with international partners.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Strong understanding of branding and marketing, with the ability to create copy that aligns with business objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the apparel or fashion industry.
Knowledge of digital advertising and social media trends.
Background in working with e-commerce brands.
Skills and Competencies
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in copywriting and editing tools, with familiarity in content management systems.
Knowledge of SEO principles and digital content strategies.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership, creativity, communication, and project management abilities.
