  • Develop complex queries using SQL or other coding languages and validate queries to ensure accuracy and logical consistency
  • Apply statistical methods and models to analyze data to identify correlations and trends using techniques such as regression and time-series analysis
  • Summarize data analysis findings and create reports, including presentation visualizations such as charts, graphs, and dashboards
  • Serve as a thought leader in aligning analytics and data solutions with broader organizational goals and objectives; actively contribute to brainstorming sessions and strategic discussions

As a small, agile, mission-driven organization with multiple concurrent projects, the person in this role must be able to organize, take initiative, operate independently with minimal direction, and manage adjusting priorities.

Will consider a bachelor’s degree in a closely related field with an equivalent combination of transferrable experience in broadly defined areas of bioinformatics or clinical informatics
  • 5+ years of relevant analytics experience
  • Prior professional experience working with healthcare data, population health data, and/or public health data strongly preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated data literacy with strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in data manipulation and querying data in Python ( preferred ), R, or SQL programs

  • Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Knowledge of the US healthcare system and healthcare data terminologies
