Job Description

Dalton is seeking a dynamic Social Media Manager to join our creative social media team in Jacksonville, FL. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop, implement, and manage social media strategies that drive engagement and results.

As a client-facing leader, you’ll oversee content creation, community management, social strategy, and campaign measurement across multiple platforms. Your passion for social media innovation and brand storytelling will be essential to our clients’ success.

What you'll be doing in the role:

  • Partner with our internal creative team to develop standout content for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X (formerly Twitter)
  • Craft engaging, platform-specific social media copy that resonates with target audiences
  • Lead client meetings as a social media expert, providing insights and solutions that drive success
  • Provide daily oversight of social profiles, including customer service, brand advocacy, community engagement, and reputation management
  • Understand and execute social media advertising strategies, assisting with ad campaigns to meet client goals
  • Design and implement tailored social media strategies to grow audiences and achieve client objectives
  • Work with PR, creative, and marketing departments to align social strategies with broader client campaigns
  • Monitor and report on social media performance, measuring impact and ROI to optimize future efforts
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, tools, and platform changes to keep clients ahead of the curve

What you will bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Three years of social media experience in an agency or brand environment.
  • Strong writing skills and deep knowledge of social platforms and their best practices
  • Experience managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously
  • Creative, results-driven mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Passionate problem-solver with a customer-first approach to social media community management.
