This is a PART-TIME internship (Tuesdays and Thursdays on site - 16 hours/week) that can be applied for college credit. Upon successful completion of the full internship, the intern will be eligible for a bonus. Local applicants only, please.  

Start date: June 3 

Duration: 10 weeks  

Description:  

The Social Media Marketing Intern will be responsible for collaborating with the social media team in implementing marketing concepts across more than a dozen brands. The candidate will have a strong working knowledge of major social media platforms, both personally and professionally, as well as working knowledge of social media analytics. 

The candidate will have a passion for marketing and social media. This person must be a self-starter, team-oriented, have a yearning to learn, and excel at multitasking a variety of projects on a need-by-need basis.

Job Responsibilities May Include

• Create and schedule engaging social media content (posts, stories, videos) across various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) 
• Brainstorm and develop creative content ideas for social media campaigns and posts 
• Assist with the setup, testing, and execution of live streaming for crafting tutorials 
• Collaborate with the team to promote upcoming live crafting tutorials across all social media channels 
• Monitor and engage with followers on social media platforms to maintain an active online community 
• Assist the social team in day-to-day tactical responsibilities

Candidate Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
• Basic understanding of Canva
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Fearless attitude towards technology and a willingness to learn
