Staffing Recruiter - Bilingual English/Spanish

Location: Lafayette, IN

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (occasional 12-hour shifts with overtime pay as needed)

Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 annually (based on experience)

Job Summary

We are hiring a Staffing Recruiter (Digital Workforce Coordinator) to lead recruitment and staffing for the prestigious Subaru project (SIA) in Lafayette, IN. This role involves sourcing top talent, managing the hiring process, and conducting new hire orientations while ensuring compliance with company policies and client needs for our light industrial workforce.

Primarily focused on Subaru in Lafayette, IN with no travel required. If you’re a bilingual (English/Spanish) professional , join our dynamic team and help shape the MS Companies' workforce!

Essential Functions

Recruitment & Hiring

  • Source and recruit candidates via job boards, social media, digital marketing, and community outreach.
  • Screen and interview applicants to identify qualified talent for open positions.
  • Track job orders and prioritize high-demand roles for the Subaru project.
  • Customize hiring processes to meet client-specific staffing needs.

Candidate & Employee Management

  • Match qualified candidates to job requisitions for optimal client and employee satisfaction.
  • Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for accurate records.
  • Build strong relationships with candidates and employees through ongoing support.
  • Perform exit interviews to enhance recruitment and retention strategies.

New Hire Orientations & Compliance

  • Collaborate with operations teams and clients to meet workforce demands.
  • Provide HR compliance support, including:
  • I-9 documentation
  • Background checks
  • Drug screenings
  • Payroll setup (direct deposit, pay cards, etc.)
  • Update staffing and compliance records in Salesforce for efficient operations.
  • Train new employees on company systems and procedures.
  • Support candidates with application processes for a seamless onboarding experience.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) – Required
  • 1-2 years of experience in staffing, recruiting, or workforce management preferred (fast-paced environment a plus).
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive attitude and capacity for independent work.
  • HS Diploma required – College degree preferred but not mandatory.
  • Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in office and manufacturing environments.
