We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transport Engineer III to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ordering telecom transport circuits, provisioning, and working with ASRs. This role supports the ongoing transport engineering and provisioning for a major telecom client and is expected to be local to the Seattle/Bellevue, WA area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order, track, and manage telecom transport circuits for wireless backhaul and core network builds.
• Prepare and submit Access Service Requests (ASRs) to carriers; track order status through completion.
• Ensure compliance with service-level agreements, project deadlines, and carrier provisioning guidelines.
• Interface with internal teams (RF, Construction, Field Assurance) and external vendors to validate network design and circuit needs.
• Utilize Granite for circuit inventory, design, and documentation.
• Work closely with the Field Assurance team to address circuit failures, escalations, and provisioning discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of all transport orders, circuit IDs, and project milestones in project management tools.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party carriers to resolve circuit delivery or performance issues.
• Ensure documentation is up to date and accurate in internal systems/tools like Granite, FUZE, or similar.

Must-Have Skills:

• 5–8+ years of experience in Telecom/Transport Engineering or Circuit Provisioning.
• Strong hands-on ASR (Access Service Request) experience.
• Familiarity with Granite or other circuit inventory management systems.
• Experience in circuit ordering, vendor coordination, and delivery assurance.
• Understanding of transport technologies such as Ethernet, TDM, MPLS, and fiber backhaul.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Local to Seattle area or willing to be onsite 2 days/week in Bellevue, WA .

Nice-to-Have:

• Previous experience supporting wireless network builds (4G/5G transport).
• Background in working with large telecom carriers like AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, CenturyLink, Zayo, etc.
• Familiarity with FUZE or similar provisioning systems.
• Understanding of fiber path diversity, equipment ordering, or DWDM provisioning is a plus.
