JOB SUMMARY

This role will lead the company’s development and implementation of core & non-core commercial offerings. The role will also identify and pursue opportunities to expand offerings within the market. This role will help AerCap Materials grow by identifying and executing on opportunities beyond the core business of selling airframe and engine components.

AerCap Materials is a division of AerCap and is a premier distributor of airframe and engine components available for purchase or lease, AerCap Materials provides comprehensive solutions for aircraft supply chains. With nearly 50 years of leading aftermarket experience and among the largest inventories to support mid-life and new-generation aircraft, AerCap Materials is the proven provider of full life cycle and supply chain solutions. The scale, experience and accessibility of our global team provides ready access to support the airline business. Specializing in 737NG, 777, Ejet and A320 Family aircraft, we also support operators of other widebody, narrow body and regional jets.

AerCap is the global leader in aircraft leasing with a portfolio of over 2,000 aircraft, over 900 engines, and over 300 helicopters, together with an order book of approximately 450 of the most in-demand new technology aircraft in the world. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop and grow strategic alliances with new and existing customer base
  • Develop and implement Supply Chain solutions to include leasing, distribution, trading, forward inventory placement and other solutions tailored for each key customer
  • Partner with commercial leadership to prioritize and align growth priorities; support design of annual key account growth playbook; customize existing solutions to meet customer needs
  • Collaborate with team members on go-to-market deals and lead the deal approval process to include team coordination, deal structuring, and contract negotiation
  • Develop a thorough understanding of core markets, dynamics and adjacencies including competitive environment and market position to identify opportunities; partner with asset management and commercial leadership to act on recommendations and insights

JOB REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

Educational/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum 6 years of experience in the aviation industry OR High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 8 years of experience in the aviation industry
  • Experience working with MS Office, preferably MS Word, PowerPoint; specifically, Excel
  • Experience conducting presentations and facilitating business objectives.
  • Ability to travel as needed and to manage other duties as assigned.
  • Existing customer relationships in region.
