The impact you will have: Responsible for serving as the primary technical point of contact and primary data administrator/developer for our client’s Workday system administration. This position will lead both strategic and hands-on planning and execution of projects and will manage the Workday business process and security.
What you will do: - Act as a hands-on Workday leader and super-user. Maintain Workday security design, configuration, business processes, workflow, and system administration.
- Perform enterprise integration builder (EIB) in Workday.
- Configure Workday business processes and determine best practices in entering and maintaining system data.
- Manage and maintain all data integrations between Workday and all other People & Culture (P&C)/Finance systems.
- Conduct advanced Workday report writing across departments (i.e. matrix reports, dashboards and composite reports).
- Perform detailed integration testing for Workday upgrades.
- Support a variety of cross-functional People Operations projects/initiatives, serving as a resource and liaison with IT, Finance and People & Culture.
- Analyze and recommend process, workflow, and reporting improvements.
- Collaborate with People & Culture leaders on strategy, budgets, and deployment. Partner with multiple functional areas within P&C to align priorities and resources to ensure that goals and objectives across the team are met.
- Drive discipline throughout our HRIS and business processes to ensure a consistent and repeatable experience for stakeholders.
- Own the delivery, documentation, and effectiveness of core P&C operations of processes, systems of record, and communication protocols with other functions such as Finance, Payroll, Legal, and Communications.
- Monitor system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance and optimization.
- Develop a plan, including key performance indicators and interdependencies, to optimize Workday and our Manager & Employee Self-Service model across the organization.
- Contribute to the creation of P&C strategy and roadmaps with respect to HRIS and cross functional collaborations.
- Document systems and processes; develop user documentation as needed.
- Troubleshoot the deep details of an issue and resolve problems from end-to-end.
- Assist in other data/development needs beyond the Workday environment.
- Will perform other duties as assigned.
What makes you a good fit: - 3+ years of experience within the consulting industry or professional services
- Proficiency in Workday report writing required.
- Experience with both API and file-based integrations and the security associated with each preferred.
- Experience with Workday customer or partner building and maintaining integrations—both custom and connectors preferred
- Process knowledge of security architecture, fields, domains, and data objects in Workday.
- Ability to create, execute, and debug EIBs for loading organization, candidate, payroll, benefits, and talent related data sets.
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot production related issues as well as implement new features and functionality across the Workday platform.
- Strong interest in researching, identifying, and applying new techniques and strategic uses of technology.
- Competent in required job skills and knowledge. Completes work assignments thoroughly and completely in an accurate and prompt manner. Identifies and corrects errors. Is careful, alert and accurate, paying attention to details of the job.

Compensation, Diversity and Benefit Information: The pay range for this position in Washington is $55-65/hr. W2 plus full benefits; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, candidate location, and experience.
