Job Title: 1:1 Behavioral Instructional Assistant

Location: McMinnville, OR

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $30 - $35 per hour / $1200 - $1400 per week

Schedule: We have several clients looking for Behavioral Instructional Assistant, specific schedule is based on the school and district you will be working with

  • Weekends and holidays off

Position Details

Specialty: 1:1 Behavioral Instructional Assistant

Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with behavioral or special needs.
  • Knowledge of behavioral intervention techniques (CPI training is a plus).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, 1:1 support to a student with behavioral and learning needs.
  • Implement behavioral intervention strategies based on individualized education programs (IEPs) or behavior support plans (BSPs).
  • Assist the student with academic tasks, social interactions, and classroom routines.
  • Reinforce positive behaviors and redirect challenging behaviors using evidence-based techniques.
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and specialists to ensure consistent support for the student.
  • Document student progress and behavioral observations.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.

  8. Professional Development : We offer a reimbursement of $500.00 towards professional development this can include: CEU’s, licensing fees, etc
  9. Housing: Generous housing stipend.
  10. Insurance Coverage: Premium medical, dental, vision, and life insurance starting on day one. And continued insurance coverage over the summer if qualified.
  11. Retirement Savings: A 4% 401(k) match to help you plan for the future.
