Our client, a Low-rise home builder is looking for a Contracts Manager to join their team in Vaughan, ON
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Contracts:
Develop scopes of work
Prepare and present documents for tenders
Negotiate with trades and suppliers
Review and compare quotes
Identify areas for improvement in existing contracting processes
Project Management:
Develop Schedule A Standard Features for new projects
Prepare preliminary budgets for marketing purposes
Review and approval models for construction, brochures and black lines
Required Skills:
At least 2-10 years' experience as a contracts manager in the low rise residential development.
Must have previous expereince in low rise residential construction in Ontario
Contraction relation education and or PMP certification
Review, analyze, and track all contracts necessary to the residential building process for low rise residential
Contruction related degree or diploma
Ability to negotiate and communicate with the trades.
