Job Description

Corporate HR Business Partner to support the Corporate Office and Plant location. This position is the conduit for positive employee and management relations and will also be accountable for other human resources responsibilities. This position administers and coordinates policies, helps oversee programs and manages HR projects. The Corporate HRBP reports to the HR Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement and administer on-going policies, programs and procedures to foster understanding of and partner with management and supervisors for optimal positive employee relations and retention strategies.
  • Responsible for company-wide communications.
  • Manage all new employee recruitment orientation and training.
  • Process payroll and submits weekly reports.
  • Promote employee engagement and satisfaction through various initiatives.
  • Support workforce planning, talent acquisition, on boarding and succession planning.
  • Help coach managers on performance management processes, including performance feedback, calibration and career transitions.
  • Support employee training and development initiatives, including identifying learning needs, designing and delivering programs and tracking outcomes.
  • Perform HR statistical analysis and prepares reports and communicates data and trends.
  • Responsible for employee benefit enrollments, questions or inquiries.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
  • 4+ years relevant experience preferred.
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
  • Knowledge of Human Resource systems; Internet software; Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Payroll Database software.
  • Possess specialized knowledge of HR systems, processes and procedures, including administration of benefits, compensation and other programs.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to partner with managers and supervisors.
  • Must be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
