Executive Director of Cross-Border Americas - North South & Central America Champion
Role : Executive Director of Cross-Border Americas is a Leader and coordinator across all relevant BBVA stakeholders to enhance global cross-border business efforts in the Americas region. Responsibilities include establishing XB strategic and annual plans , identifying and evaluating business opportunities , establishing governance and processes to monitor their execution , following up new onboardings and important deals and resolving issues, fostering collaborative initiatives, and driving strategic projects to drive growth and strengthen the bank's position in key markets.
Responsibilities:
“XB Champion Americas” profile: is an ED with 10 years experience with knowledge of BBVA internal processes regarding client relationship management, onboarding, PF approval, etc.
Key stakeholders:
- CIB heads in the Americas region
- XB leaders and champions in USA, MX, Argentina, Colombia, Peru
- Global and local bankers (SIX, Inst, GTB)
- RTC South America
- BEC in the Americas region
- Product
- Risk
- Finance
Role location : USA (NYC)

With respect to this position in our Houston Office, the expected base salary ranges from $200,000 to $230,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
