Job Description

Optum is seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our team. This role will rotate to our clinics in the Southeast Region of Los Angeles County: Huntington Park, Montebello, Alhambra, Long Beach and Whittier. This positions offers a unique opportunity to work in multiple clinics, providing diverse experiences and making a significant impact on various communities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in an outpatient setting, including consults, follow-up appointments, well-checks, and screenings.
• Cover PTO, LOA, vacancies, and CMEs, with potential urgent care coverage.
• Manage a patient base primarily consisting of adults and seniors.
• Maintain an average daily patient census of 18-20 patients.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 8-5, no evenings, weekends or call.
• Full-time or PRN positions available.

Required Qualifications:

• Board eligible/Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Unrestricted California Physician License or ability to obtain prior to start
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start
• Current California DEA certificate or ability to obtain prior to start
• EMR Proficient
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills and time management

California Residents Only: The salary range for California residents is $244,000 to $341,300. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement.
