Job Description

We are seeking a Procurement Analyst for a premier client on a direct-hire basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Forecast past and future volumes in monthly and quarterly reports to identify trends in Procurement
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure timely and accurate reporting for strategic decision-making
  • Work closely with functional departments to develop and refine quarterly forecasts
  • Create and maintain tracking spreadsheets for weekly vendor and volume reporting
  • Assist in all Procurement tasks to ensure accuracy and timely execution
  • Support field operations by providing assistance with ordering processes
  • Assist in drafting and distributing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to potential suppliers
  • Focus on ensuring compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) reporting requirements, including accurate documentation and internal control evaluations
  • Conduct credit card auditing to identify discrepancies, ensure policy adherence, and mitigate potential risks
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills with an emphasis on process automation and improvement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including advanced use of pivot tables and management of large data sets from core systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Access and Oracle systems is preferred but not required
  • Ability to proactively identify and communicate trends (both positive and negative) to management
  • Experience in compiling and reporting data at various frequencies
  • Confidence in presenting findings and trends in group settings, particularly related to forecasts and data analysis
  • A collaborative mindset with a willingness to work across finance and accounting areas while maintaining ownership of monthly reporting tasks
