About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Full-Stack Engineer with a background in working FAANG companies ONLY (Meta, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Google, Amazon, etc.). The ideal candidate should have anywhere between 3 and 10 years' experience and should able to dive deep into all aspects of the system, from performance optimization to system architecture. This role offers the opportunity to take on tech leadership responsibilities and shape the future of their products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize cutting-edge financial products, including their revolutionary credit card
• Utilize advanced technologies like machine learning and AI
• Architect and build robust infrastructure across a wide range of services
• Contribute to strategic decisions and help shape the company culture

Requirements

• FAANG companies ONLY (Meta, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Google, Amazon, etc.)
• 3-10 YOE as an fullstack/backend engineer at top 10 tech giant
• 3+ years of applied industry experince coding (Python preferred but not required)
• Proven experience leading large, technically complex projects
• Expertise in disparate systems design
• Background in production-grade deep technology (compilers, operating systems, large distributed systems, machine learning infrastructure)
• Ability to thrive in a new environment with minimal hand-holding
• Collaborative mindset and a passion for solving important problems

Work Environment

• In-office work required 5 days a week, with some flexibility for experienced candidates (minimum 3 days in San Jose)
